"No parcels for soldiers when in Afghanistan ?"

A review of Royal Mail by Army Mum written on Saturday 12th of January 2013

Refusal to hand over a parcel I tried to collect for my son due to me not having his ID in my possession (which I thought would have been obvious seen as though he was fighting for his country in Afghanistan). Despite me explaining the situation staff were very unsympathetic and there was no negotiation on the matter even after speaking to a manager who just flatly refused despite me having proof of my ID and same address as " they were the rules" Come on Royal Mail a little compassion and understanding wouldn't go amiss in situations like these as it is stressful enough for the families without you adding to the situation..
